“Xogun”, a short film by National Award winning filmmaker and co-founder of Indiescope, Utpal Borpujari has won the Best Film Award in the short film competition at the 13th International Guwahati Film Festival, This festival is organised by Gauhati Cine Club, Assam, India.

Filmed in January, 2020, “Xogun” (Vulture) had its first screening at the 13th International Guwahati Film Festival. The film has been produced by IFT India, and is based on an eponymous Assamese short story by noted writer and senior journalist Manoj Goswami.
